I've owned the original DN-MC6000 and upgraded to MK2 because they fixed the mic distortion problem as well as improved the sound engine by making it 24-bit. This controller is perfect for a mobile DJ because of it's small size and industrial build (my original is almost 4 years old and still works flawlessly). It can perform as an independent mixer without being connected to a laptop, so you can connect up to 4 analog sources to it which is great for multi-DJ setup. Having two mics (which work great in MK2) with echo makes it perfect for karaoke. I didn't buy this through Amazon however a review is a review.
